Okay! Piotr got back to me with clarifications.
The documentation is up to date; so we need at least a c5.large
, which is 2 vCPU / 2 GB RAM / 1 GiB Persistent Storage.
Additionally, this is just for v2; the same node should not be running the random beacon or PRE.
Some other considerations:
- The larger percentage of the stake you have, the more work your computer does (since you’ll be handling multiple seats on multiple wallets).
- Monitoring should be deployed separately.
- There also needs to be a connection to electrum/bitcoin, especially if TIP-035 doesn’t pass. Right now, blockstream is providing a public electrum endpoint, but we don’t want all of the nodes pointing to the same endpoint or that becomes a point of failure.
