As part of TACo’s migration from the Threshold Network (see context in TIP-92 and Arj’s post here in TIP-100: TIP-100: The Future of Threshold, Continued - #20 by arj ), the TACo team is finalizing a new staking rewards distribution system, which involves rewards being drawn from NuCypher’s treasury, rather than the Threshold Network’s treasury (TACo staking rewards for August were the last paid from the DAO treasury).
In order to cleanly delineate this new era, we will not ‘mix’ T rewards drawn from these two treasuries. Hence, all unclaimed rewards from the previous era should be claimed within the next week, by Wednesday October 8th at noon EST.
In order to clear the Claimable Rewards contract for September rewards to be deposited by NuCypher, any rewards not manually claimed by the 8th will be automatically transferred to your beneficiary address on that day. Then, on Friday October 10th, new rewards for the month of September will be distributed via the same contract and will be claimable via the normal dashboard user flow (https://dashboard.threshold.network/staking).
