I’m Baha, a recent graduate of the in-person Polkadot Blockchain Academy and believer in the multi-chain future. During my time at PBA, I developed the knowledge and confidence to begin participating in our own governance system and am bringing forth a proposal to create a Bitcoin Reserve for the Polkadot Ecosystem.
While researching the various options available, I found tBTC being adopted as the BTC of choice within the Polkadot ecosystem for many good reasons and will be using it in my proposal.
Found here, I am proposing to invest 500,000 DOT into tBTC over the course of a year using the Hydration protocol’s DCA feature, during which small chunks of tBTC will be continuously added as liquidity to the Hydration Omnipool in order to support DeFi incentives.
I will be presenting this proposal to the Polkadot community for discussion shorty, but wanted to make sure all the networks involved were aware of it first.
