The DAO passed a proposal in June to cover the relay maintainer cost through the end of November.
The overview of TIP-029:

This post is for general feedback and a place to discuss whether the DAO will extend that request and continue to cover the ongoing cost of the relay maintainer.

I think the DAO should continue to cover the Relay Maintainer throughout the new tBTCv2 launch timeline.

This seems reasonable to me, but how can we make a projection of costs? I assume they are very low now given virtually no activity on v1 (4 redemptions in the last 4 months) but will be substantial when we execute the “Sunsettening”.
