Following the procedure stated in TIP-011 regulating the Guild Committee Elections and Nominations, we open the nominations for the elections of the Marketing Guild Committee Members.
This is a staggered procedure, where we vote 4 seats. These 4 seats correspond to the members that in August 2022 elections process received the minor amount of votes.
These seats are currently held by community members:
We encourage everyone to participate and provide their nominations, any DAO member can be nominated for an upcoming guild committee seat, including self-nominations. Bear in mind that a person who is nominated by another member must confirm their intent to be a candidate.
Focus of our Marketing Guild
The Threshold Marketing Guild is responsible for general Threshold marketing across services, growing our network of contributors, onboarding new members to the Threshold DAO, educating people about the Threshold’s value, services and use cases, and more.
Timeline for the Elections
February 7th - February 24th - Nominations Period
February 24th 1pm ET - IG Candidates Meet & Greet
February 28th - March 4th - Snapshot vote
March 4th - New term starts for the elected members, which will serve 1-year term: March 4th 2023 - February 29th 2024

Please note that the timeline for has changed to provide flexibility for DAO members going to the ETH Denver conference. Additionally, this terms’ Snapshot vote has been displaced 4 days due to technical reasons that would benefit the process of elections and that will not be recurrent in time. For this reason, this term will start March 4th 2023 instead of March 1st.
I would like to nominate @Beemeupnow for the upcoming MG Committee election. I have had the pleasure of working with him on the Marketing Guild, in the Tally Ho Pawdnership (integrations) and Moderators groups, and seeing him as a regular contributor to Eth Denver and Bufficorn Ventures. I think he would make an excellent candidate and contributing member of the Threshold Marketing Guild.

I’d like to nominate myself for the marketing guild. I have been attending the meetings the last few months and I’m excited to learn and help out within the community. I’ve worked and currently work in sales and marketing for a large national media corporation and hope my experience will be of value here.
I second the nomination of @jtbhalloran. I previously worked with jtbhalloran for several years, he is a driven individual with a strong sales and marketing background, and currently works for a leading technology company in the communications and networking space, supporting the development and adoption of new products and services. I think he is a strong candidate and I believe the marketing guild could benefit from a fresh perspective.
Hi everyone! I hope that this finds you well. I would like to nominate myself for a seat in the MG. I think that my own working philosophy based on core values like responsiveness, proactivity and resolution can add value to the guild. I can offer translation services and address other communication-related tasks if needed among other kind of tasks. It would be a pleasure for me to participate in a more active way in the MG.
